The walk to the glacier was cancelled so we walked by ourselves as far as we could. I have a few photos on my other camera.
This is where the glacier used to come to.
This is where the rocks might fall
SO KEEP WALKING.
This is where the guide sits
because the water is rushing over
the stepping stones and you
might slip and slide into the icy creek
and you will definitely get wet socks.
We look at the gushing water.
We feel the rain blasting harder.
The mountains stretch up into
the grey sky like magnificent giants
strong and fierce.
Our trousers are wet.
Our noses are cold.
We can see the glacier
like a little patch of white scarf.
One day I want to walk on ice.
