Holiday poetry bonanza challenge: daisy days, veggie days, sweet days

The holidays are nearly over! My girls are teenagers now so we all do our own things but during the holidays we like doing some things together. Our favourite thing is to go to a movie and go out for a Japanese lunch or noodles. Or head south and visit their grandparents.

This morning I woke up early as my daughter has to get an early train into university (she loves her subjects!) so I started to think about that old days-of-the-week poem. I forget how it goes …. Monday’s child is fair of face, Tuesday’s child is full of grace … (Or the other way round).

I thought it would be fun to write a days-of-the-week poem. Doesn’t need to be about children. It might be what you do or see or eat or wear or hear or visit or ???? on each day. Or flowers or skies or roads or transport things or …………
