the only tree in the world

I love the mysteriousness of Ewen’s tree poem!

This is my tree challenge poem. It’s slightly random because it doesn’t really have a pattern but I thought I’d try it that way.

I hope you like reading it!

Ewen aged 11, Year 6, Fendalton Open Air Primary School, Christchurch

Somewhere Near or Far

There’s a very

special tree

in a way you

cannot see.

It’s monstorantuan

in size

and green

with a thick trunk.

But what’s

really intriguing

is that it’s

the only tree

in the world!

All other trees

are actually reflections

altered slightly

or majorly.

So go on the quest

to find the only

real tree.

Somewhere

near or far

green tall

with a thick trunk.

It’s not much

to go by

but you’ll know

it’s the tree

if you find it.
