Good morning young poetry box fans
This week I am going to post a Gecko Press reading diary. I will tell you about some gorgeous books they have published this year that I have loved reading.
So I suddenly wanted to know what YOU have loved reading.
You could write me a letter or a poem or report or comic strip telling me what you loved about the book.
What were your favourite parts?
Did it remind you of other cool books?
What was the mood?
How did it make you feel?
Did it remind you of anything you have experienced?
Has the author written other books you want to check out?
What was the writing like?
The look of the book?
Would you give it stars?
Or you could do a drawing or painting inspired by the book.
Or you could do an AUDIO or VIDEO sharing a wee taste of the book and saying what you LOVED about it.
I will have at least one book to give away.
please include your name age and name of school
don’t forget to put NAME OF challenge in subject line so I don’t miss it
don’t put your surname on drawings or paintings or collages (Poetry Box policy)
There is no deadline while we are living in our bubbles! Every Friday I will post some work by children.
I will always answer your emails but not straightaway. If I haven’t replied after 3 or 4 days nudge me as I may have missed it.
I will have at least one book to give away each Friday.
