Hi Paula, My daughter just stumbled across your blog. I run a large Chch homeschool group of around 190 families (Homespun Learning) . May we enter as a school?

    Kind regards, Darnia

    Hi Darnia
I love those unexpected stumbles! That’s fine to enter. Just send all entries to my post box and attach an entry form with each poem. Your students can also enter the weekly challenges on Poetry Box. Send these to my email address.

    Regards

    Paula

Hi can I enter a poem not via a school as I saw this and thought of a poem my daughter wrote last year. I don’t want to have to try and organise for it to be sent via her school as she changed schools this year and didn’t write it at the new one, so they are not aware of it. Regards Suzanne

That’s fine but you will need to put the details of her new school and teacher. I look forward to reading it. She may like to enter challenges on Poetry Box too and add comments!

Hello, my son would like to apply this competition individually.
Does it need to be the original handwriting? Or re typed by word on computer is ok? We just have been aware of this blog and competition, and happy to be able to encourage my son by this. Thank you.
